Ella chimed in, “Speaking of doctors, I remembered something. Yesterday, Chris defied Mrs. Ashford and tried to call their family doctor for Tyler and Olivia. Want to guess what happened today?”
“What happened?” Stephanie asked, recalling how Chris had previously tried to convince Sebastian over the phone. But right now, neither she nor Sebastian was in any mood for compromise.
Ella continued. “Chris went to the Hart residence, and when he left, he kicked over one of their flower pots at the entrance.”

“What got him so worked up?” Stephanie asked.

Normally, Chris was the kind of guy who’d keep his cool in any situation, but he really delivered that kick.
“Did he get into an argument with Olivia?” Stephanie asked.

Even if there were differences, Chris would definitely hold back unless it was something major. What could have set him off?
