Eric and the doctor left one after the other.

Ella was still burning hot, her cheeks flushed. At that moment, she was in no good shape and feverish to the point of talking

nonsense.

The doctor had said that using cooling methods would help her recover fatter. With no other choice. Lorenzo eventually brought a basin of water and undressed Ella completely. He wasn’t a gentle person and had never done anything so detailed

before.

What a hassle, he thought. He found Ella quite bothersome, and if it weren’t for Sebastian and Stephanie, he wouldn’t have dealt with her at all.

The doctor was right; physical cooling worked faster. Soon, Ella’s fever began to go down. Now, Lorenzo didn’t bother with her anymore. He just threw a blanket over her and left.

The next morning, when Ella woke up and realized she was completely undressed under the blanket, she was in shock. Panic rose within her, and she let out a hysterical scream that even scared the birds outside.

When Stephanie was groggily awakened by her vibrating phone, Sebastian was already out of bed. Rubbing her sleepy eyes.. she tried to find her phone.

But she couldn’t find the phone on the nightstand or under her pillow. In a rush, she searched everywhere and finally discovered it under the bed. Seeing it was Ella calling, she quickly picked up. “Ella?”
