Chapter 323

With just a glance, Richard turned away and strode straight toward his car, tossing over his shoulder. “You can find your own way back.”

Sofia shouted, “Damn it! You drove me here, and now I’m supposed to get back on my own? Watch me go right back in there and file for divorce.”

When they were getting married, he was practically inseparable. But now that they were married… If his attitude was going to change, it shouldn’t be like this.

It was just too outrageous. When people got married, they at least went out for a meal or something to celebrate.

Richard was already in the car, glancing at Sofia with a faint smile. “For the next six months, don’t even think about it.”

Getting a divorce was no big deal. Sofia retorted, “Ha, if I want a divorce, I’ll find a way. ‘Don’t even think about it‘ doesn’t apply to me.”

Hearing Sofia’s sharp–tongued response, Richard simply rolled up the car window. He couldn’t keep talking to her; he’d really lose his temper if he did. He turned to Cliff and said, “Drive.”

Cliff looked a bit embarrassed. “Aren’t you going to take her out for a post–wedding dinner to celebrate?”

“We have different tastes,” Richard said nonchalantly. The thought of eating with Sofia made his stomach churn. With her quick temper, if she said something wrong during the meal, the whole table might end up flipped.

Cliff smiled, “How is that even a valid excuse? Be careful, you might push Ms. Sofia to file for divorce on her own.” Cliff believed that Sofia was definitely capable of doing that, given her temperament.

Richard’s response was cold and dismissive. “She wouldn’t dare.”

Cliff fell silent. Whether she would dare or not, everyone in Fiorenza knew the truth. Was Richard really that oblivious?

Richard took out his phone and dialed a number. The person on the other end seemed reluctant to answer. It took two tries before the call was finally picked up. “Mr. Casalini, looking for another fight?” Dan’s voice came through the phone, gritted with irritation.

Richard’s lips curled into a satisfied smile. “Sofia is my wife now.”

The line went quiet, the air suddenly heavy with silence.
