One of Lin Mu's goal in coming to the Holy Topaz Continent was to find materials that were needed for him to progress his body cultivation.

Senior Xukong had given him the option of three body cultivation techniques: The Tyrant Bull Marrow Secrets, The Three Apertures Invoking Technique, and finally the Deep Nether Vitriolic Baptism.

Out of the three, the Deep Nether Vitriolic Baptism was unusable since the requirement for it was a Caustic Nether Spring. Unless Lin Mu could stumble upon one, it would be impossible for him to cultivate it.

This left him with the Tyrant Bull Marrow Secrets and the Three Apertures Provoking Technique. Both of these needed special materials to cultivate, that Lin Mu intended to find in the Holy Topaz Empire.

And to do that, he decided to first see if he could find them in the shops here.
