When he had noticed she had switched off her location on her phone, Alexander had followed her to the seafood restaurant to make sure that she was safe. Then, he watched Rose and her shop for two hours. But something about this store made him on edge. He couldn’t explain why. There was also a nagging feeling like he shouldn’t be here. He couldn’t explain that either.

About thirty minutes later, Rose and Olivia walked out of Evening Bloom. They were carrying a lot more shopping bags than what they entered the store with. They were also talking and laughing with a beautiful woman who worked at the shop. The two women seemed much happier and more relaxed than when they came into the store- especially Olivia. Her body seemed less tense, and her eyes were shining with excitement.
