There were indeed a few flaws in the agreement. It would be an easy win for Elisa if the matter were brought to court. In fact, he would directly turn Norman down if the latter asked for his help because this case was an unchallenging losing battle.

However, since Gareth decided to turn a blind eye to it, Vincent would do as he wished. He was determined to interfere with the matter and force Gareth to take the initiative.

If Elisa were in trouble, Gareth would not possibly sit back. Vincent was ready to mock Gareth when the latter finally gave in to help Elisa.

At that thought, Vincent replied to Peter, his relative. 'There are many flaws in the agreement. I suggest redoing it.'

Peter was stunned upon receiving the message and quickly called Norman after replying to Vincent.

"Mr. Benett, things are not looking good! Vincent replied to me just now and said the agreement is flawed. He suggested redoing it."

Dumbfounded, Norman blurted instinctively, "How could that be?!"

The lawyer he hired back then was a top-tier lawyer. He had even hired other lawyers to prove the agreement, and no flaws were pointed out.

Peter was flustered. "I-I have no idea…"

Norman uttered with a darkened face, "Alright."

With that, he hung up and sank into deep thoughts in his office.

He was in a daze for a long time and failed to reach a conclusion even after mulling over it.

He did not bother to have dinner upon reaching home.

Even Linda and Rose were looking dejected. Rose casually prepared some food and served it. "Let's eat first and discuss the matter after dinner."

"I don't feel like eating." Norman blurted coldly and remained sitting on the couch with no intention of moving.

Linda went to sit down on the couch and croaked with a sullen look, "Me too."
