Chapter 967 Thomas&apos Dilemma

Elisa froze. She hadn't expected Thomas to send her a proposal this quickly.
Elisa froze. She hadn't expected Thomas to send her a proposal this quickly.

She frowned and inquired, "Did Gareth instruct you to send it to me?"

Thomas cleared his throat. He experienced a slight sense of impasse between Elisa and Gareth. Both parties appeared to be able to deduce what the other was thinking.

More importantly, their analytical skills were intimidating. Sometimes they had enough implicit understanding to know what went on. Hence, Thomas was unable to lie to Elisa.

Thomas said cautiously, "This newly acquired project comes with huge stakes. Normally, Mr. Wickam would consider cooperating with Tabor Group, but he decided to reach out to you first."

Thomas didn't have to go into trouble explaining the reason for the decision. Elisa understood why.

Everyone knew that Tabor Group outperformed Benett Corporation in strength, but they needed to find a strong partner to complement their business. The plan was vital for a win-win partnership.

Their project before had gone well because Elisa made a sound proposal, but this time it was a project by the Wickam Group.

Elisa frowned. She replied calmly, "I apologize, but would you kindly inform him the company recently started some new projects and can't collaborate with Wickam Group? Since there is much at stake, the participation of Benett Corporation will only cause trouble down the line. Let's not trouble Mr. Wickam more than we should."

Thomas thought, how should I convey the message?

After a moment of silence, he said, "At the time being, the collaboration project is not an urgent matter. Maybe evaluate the project, and decide later, Ms. Elisa?"

Elisa refused, "The answer is still no. I have too much on my plate, and I'm afraid there's no room for this project."

Thomas sighed, "Alright, I'll let Mr. Wickam know."

"Okay, thank you," said Elisa.
