Rose snickered. "It's all in the past. We're at the end of our suffering. These years, I haven't done anything except cook for the both of them. I've had to bend to their every whim. "That's right! The fruits of our labor!!" Linda cackled.

"Thank you for keeping up with the act for me for two years." Norman smiled. "Once the shares are in my name, and I'm chairman, you will never have to suffer such humiliation again!"

"You're amazing, dad! But shouldn't we keep that medicine you used on Norman? In case we need it again in the future?"

"Hmph… No. It's just a normal supplement you can find at any drugstore. You wouldn't have any issues after ingesting it. No one knows about Nelson's allergies to it, not even his best friend, James."

"But just in case…" Linda sounded worried.

Norman chuckled, "I'm not keeping it to prevent Elisa from suspecting us. Nelson has always taken this supplement. It'd look suspicious if it were to disappear suddenly. I specifically remember her handling the pill bottle before."

Linda gritted her teeth. "Damn her! She wouldn't have gotten away if she hadn't married Gareth! Gareth is mine!"

"Don't worry, Linda. Let me help you. Just keep pretending to be incapacitated; sooner or later, Gareth will be yours! What are you afraid of? He's so full of guilt towards you. He's been saying repeatedly that he'll take responsibility and marry you!"

Coming to their senses, the audience all had different expressions on their faces.

Norman was about to lose his mind. He had to physically restrain himself from lunging at Elisa to grab her microphone. But that would only make him appear more guilty.

Norman was white with rage, but Elisa glanced at him indifferently. She calmly spoke into her microphone, "That was the voice recording. I've also brought my father's allergy records and the supplement, as mentioned above, that he consumed.
