She wasn't surprised that Gareth had stayed the night and hadn't left.

After all, the man had stayed at her place a few times. She… seemed to have gradually gotten used to it. Or perhaps it could be said that she had no other way around the man's presence.

She was mainly surprised that Gareth had an apron around him. He came out with a sandwich.

He… made sandwiches?

Elisa subconsciously looked at the dining table. There was another sandwich on it, along with bacon and eggs.

Her gaze froze slightly. In an instant, she didn't know what to say.

Gareth glanced at her indifferently. "Come eat."

Elisa's eyes flickered. She hesitated but still walked to the dining table and sat down.

She was almost ready to leave the house and just had to get dressed. She hadn't planned on eating breakfast, nor did she think she could eat the breakfast Gareth personally made when she went downstairs.


Upon seeing Gareth pass her a set of utensils, Elisa took them from him without saying anything.

And Gareth didn't plan to say anything either. He sat across from her and started eating with ease.

It was a simple sandwich. She nibbled at it and never thought it would taste good after trying it. She glanced at Gareth with astonishment. "When did you learn how to cook?"

Gareth answered indifferently, "I've always known how to cook."

He didn't say anything else.

Elisa raised her brows and kept quiet.

Although they had been married for three years, they barely saw each other. It had also never gotten to the point where Gareth needed to cook. It was understandable for her to be clueless.

The two ate breakfast silently. Gareth wiped the corners of his mouth and got up. "Let's go. I'll send you."

Elisa took the plates and utensils to the kitchen. "I'm going to deal with this. Go on. I'm not going to the office today."

She had other things to do today.

Gareth glanced at her and said, "Don't be in contact with Will anymore after the jewel project ends."

Elisa's slightly good impression of him instantly vanished after what he said.

Her footsteps didn't stop. She couldn't be bothered to pay Gareth any attention as she walked into the kitchen.

Gareth looked coldly at the figure in the kitchen and said nothing. He left coldly.

After Elisa cleaned up, she changed and left.
