Chapter 1484 I Really Don’t Have the Time

As her father's daughter, she hadn't fulfilled her duty properly as his child.

Elisa was distracted. She controlled her thoughts and came to her senses in time.

However, the man's pulse made her expression freeze.

"Girl, did you find something wrong with me?" The man asked Elisa. His eyes were filled with confusion.

Elisa didn't deny it. She nodded. "Mm. You fainted because you've been poisoned for three years."

"In these three years, have you often noticed that you're exhausted and have palpitations, chills, and occasional dizziness?"

The man immediately narrowed his eyes. He was suspicious about it but had never been able to find evidence. On top of his body's current symptoms, he didn't doubt what Elisa said.

Elisa noticed she was right about the man's symptoms, so she kindly reminded him. "It must have been someone around you if they poisoned and hid it from you. You have to watch out. Stop taking your current medicine and look for a good doctor."

This was the only advice she could give the man.

After that, Elisa rose.

Winslow had left with Brie. Elisa wasn't very interested in the unfamiliar dinner party.

Besides, the man's incident had interrupted her mood. She wanted to go elsewhere, but the man rushed to stop her before she could turn and walk away.

The man was afraid he would go around her, so he opened his arms wide.

"Girl, you told me to look for a good doctor. What about you? You seem pretty good."

Elisa's brows furrowed slightly. She looked at him slightly doubtfully.

They didn't know each other. Why did the man dare to let her treat him?

Everyone here was exceptional, and they could easily treat their diseases. Furthermore, the poison in the man's body wasn't terminal. Other doctors could treat him.

She had no reason to make things difficult for herself.

Therefore, Elisa turned him down bluntly. "I'm sorry, sir. I don't have the time. I'm not the only doctor around."

Elisa initially thought she had expressed herself clearly, and the man kept quiet.

But she never thought the man would chase after her persistently. "Girl, don't worry. I will reward you with what you deserve. If not, name your price. I can pay no matter how much it is."

Elisa stirred after he said it.

"It has nothing to do with money. I don't want to treat you, alright?" Elisa only said such a thing to him because she felt emotional.

She had just done it out of the kindness of her heart, but she never thought she would end up making things difficult for herself.
