Returning to Wickam Manor was out of the question, and bringing Gareth to her place wasn't a viable option either.

Reluctantly, she brought Thomas and Gareth back to her own place.

Thomas followed the prescription she gave him and prepared the medicines. Throughout the night, he toiled between boiling the medicine and supervising Gareth's medicated bath while Elisa administered the medicine, staying by Gareth's side all night.

Gareth remained in an unconscious state throughout the night.

In the morning, Elisa checked Gareth's pulse. Although it wasn't as steady as before, it improved much compared to when the poison flared up the previous day.

Considering she had a meeting with the business partners, Elisa told Thomas, "You stay here and take care of him. Make sure he eats something when he wakes up. If there's anything unusual, just call me."
