Chapter 68 Accelerated Promotion 

Terrence chuckled and did not realize that his face lit up. 

“You finally want to talk to me?” 

“What are you saying?” Alexa asked confusedly. “I mean, if you are available, can you come back.

Alexa said in a business-like manner, and Terrence’s heart suddenly sank. 

He thought, she called not for anything else, just to ask me to work overtime together. 

“Is there anything else?” 

“Do you have any?” Alexa asked.

Terrence gritted his teeth and forced out a sentence. He suddenly hung up the phone. 

Alexa was confused, thinking, I’m just talking about work. Why is he angry? 

After dealing with a few documents, it was already past eight. After Mina reminded her several times at the door, she finally was ready to get out of the room and eat something. 

She asked the cook to get her some oatmeal, and she made some simple dishes herself. Alexa sat at 

the table silently eating dinner.. 

Mina stood to the side and said sympathetically. 

“Mrs. Ramsey, are you alright?” 

“It doesn’t matter. I’m happy when I work.” Alexa smiled. 

Mina sighed silently. She thought Alexa obviously did not know what had happened on the Internet. 

She also realized that perhaps Alexa was pretending to be relaxed. 

The huge living room was silent again. After a while, a sound came from the door. 

“Mr. Ramsey?” Mina said in surprise and quickly took over Terrence’s coat. 

Terrence entered the room with no look. Mina quietly glanced outside the door. 

Fortunately, he didn’t bring anyone back. 

He was slowly walking towards Alexa, and Alexa silently put down her fork and looked at him. 

“You only eat these things?” Terrence said calmly. 

“Yes,” Alexa explained. “I don’t have much appetite, and I don’t want to eat something greasy.”
