Luna’s face turned completely pale. She shot up from her chair.
“No, that’s not what happened! Uncle Lucien, you’ve got it wrong!”
Lucien’s voice was deadly calm. “Watch the video first. Then we can talk about misunderstandings.”
Everyone’s eyes were fixed on his phone screen.
A woman’s shrill voice pierced the air, followed by the hurling of a full cup of steaming coffee straight at Kaia’s chest.
Anyone with eyes could see it–Kimberly and Luna started the whole thing.
Of course, Lucien had conveniently cut out the part where Kaia retaliated.
