Chapter 234 Her First Time Lying

After changing into the swimsuit, Kaia stepped out of the dressing room wrapped tightly in a thick towel, covering herself as much as she could.

Lucien didn’t mind one bit. He knew she’d have to let it go soon enough.

Without saying a word, he slid open the glass door, revealing a private hot spring pool just large enough for two.

Wisps of white steam curled lazily into the night air. The spring water shimmered under the ambient lighting, tiny bubbles rising and popping softly at the surface.

Lucien untied his robe without hesitation, revealing the lean, defined lines of his body. He stepped straight into the pool, the warm water lapping against his skin.

Kaia followed, inching toward the edge. She dipped one foot in, testing the temperature.

“It’s not too hot,” Lucien said with a soft chuckle.

The heat in the air had already brought a light flush to Kaia’s cheeks. “Why are you looking at me like that? Turn around.”

They’d been far more intimate than this, yet something about disrobing under his gaze–here, now–still made her ears burn.
