Quintin dared not dally. He took his car keys and drove Josephine to work.

Perhaps, his carefree ways gave Josephine the wrong perception that he was still studying.

Quintin seemed to see right through her and said, “Besides what you’ve seen and my volunteering work at the welfare association, I have a regular job too. I’m working at a company selling pet supplies. It sells everything you need. You can come to me for dog food if you have decided to adopt one. I’ll give you a discount.”

Josephine smiled and took out her notebook to jot that down.
