Chapter 256 I’ll Agree to Anything

Josephine finally typed her reply after reading the chat history. “I’m not planning anything.”

Quintin sent another message. “Where are you right now?”

The young woman raised her head to look in the direction of the school gates. Then, she looked down and sent the address to Quintin.

Whenever the latter received addresses from Josephine, they always surprised him. He could never understand why she would be in such weird places.

He didn’t dwell on that thought for too long. It wasn’t long before Quintin drove to the Elysium University of Finance. He quickly spotted Josephine, who was sitting on the sidewalk

He parked his car at the roadside before getting out and jogging to her side. “Josephine!”

The aforementioned woman looked up at him upon hearing his voice. With a smile on his face, Quintin handed her a cup of coffee. “It’s hot.”

The sight of that smile caused her to space out for a moment. She was only able to regain her senses once she felt the cup of coffee being pushed into her hands.

“What are you doing here?” Quintin asked.

Josephine turned to look at him. His smile was warm and radiant, just like the sun hiding behind the clouds. That smile was especially pure and innocent in a white world like this.

Once again, she had a dazed expression on her face.

Quintin waved a hand in front of Josephine’s face. “What’s wrong with you?”

The latter quickly snapped out of her trance, and she shook her head in response. She placed the coffee cup on the spot next to her before gesturing, “I’m waiting for someone.”

“You’re waiting for someone?” Quintin shot a glance at the school gates in confusion. Did Josephine know a student from that university?

The young woman nodded as she ripped her gaze off Quintin’s face and focused it back on the gates before her.

Indeed, she was waiting for someone. However, that person would never return to her side.

“Is that person your friend?”

Josephine caressed the cup holder that was latched around the cup with her fingers, choosing

to remain silent this time.

Since she wasn’t answering his question, the man decided to drop the topic. “I’ll wait with you, then. Once that person comes out, I’ll treat you both to a meal.”
