Lewis’ tone was unfriendly, and he sounded somewhat weak.

Sensing this, Sierra nervously grabbed his arm. “Lewis, what’s wrong? Are you hurt?”

Lewis turned his gaze towards her, his eyes icy. Sierra felt her scalp tingle.

“I told you to get out of the car.”

Feeling slightly aggrieved, Sierra paused, and tears welled up in her eyes. “Why are you being so mean? I came all the way here to see you and almost lost my life, but you don’t even care. And now you’re treating me like this!”
