Chapter 315 Tomorrow Will Be Better

Beatrice stumbled downstairs and sat in the garden, where she discovered that the previously dried–up pond had filled with water again.

The surrounding grassland had turned slightly green.

It seemed like everything was becoming vibrant.

She, however, seemed like an oddity out of place, pale and trapped in the cold winter of rebirth.

She wanted to vent out, but she didn’t know who to blame.

She clearly suffered grievances and hardships, and in the end, the whole world turned her into a helpless good

person.

She alone became the sinner.

She curled her fingers with a sense of self–abandonment.

It seemed as if only pain could make her calm down.

Suddenly, a tall shadow fell and someone grabbed Beatrice’s hand.

“Beatrice.”

Odin sat down and carefully unfolded her curled fingers, taking out a hot drink from his pocket and placing it in her hand.

“Don’t laugh, this time it really didn’t look good.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know it would turn out like this,” Beatrice stammered.

Odin didn’t ask much and he lifted her hand and asked, “How did Brend say?”

“It’s nothing.”

Beatrice didn’t want to worry Odin or create conflict between the Soder family and the Baldwin family, so she forced herself to lift her hand a few times despite feeling uncomfortable.

Odin saw something and stopped her restless hand, whispering, “You didn’t need to force yourself.”

His words were like charcoal fire in the cold winter, even the smallest sparks were enough to warm Beatrice’s little heart.

She bit her lower lip tightly, trying to hold back those negative emotions, but the grievances still overflowed from her eyes.

Odin rubbed her corner of the eye and then supported her head, pulling her into his arms.

“Cry, it’s okay,” he gently patted Beatrice’s back.

Beatrice couldn’t resist anymore and reached out to embrace him, burying her face in his shoulder.

“I really didn’t mean to harm Bella…”

“I knew.”

“Is everything I did wrong?”

“No.”

“I’m sorry…

not wrong.”
