Chapter 114
Gabriel did not know how to react.
After returning to his room, Gabriel called David. “Check if there are any diamond mines for sale recently.”
“Will do.”
After David instinctively replied, he came back to his senses. “Mr. Jackson, why are you suddenly acquiring a diamond mine!”
He didn’t know why Gabriel was suddenly into that.
It’s for Gina.”
“Okay. What?”
David was stunned.
As expected of Mr. Jackson. Other people give out one or two diamonds, but Mr. Jackson is offering a mine directly. How stunning!
“Why? Is there a problem?”
Gabriel’s tone was a little gloomy. The tone he used when he mentioned Gina was completely different.
Just the mention of Miss Miller’s name made Mr. Jackson’s tone unconsciously soften.
He really loved her so much.
“No, no!”
David cleared his throat. I’ll check right away!”
A few minutes later, David replied to Gabriel.
“Mr. Jackson, a diamond mine has recently been discovered in South Africa. Coincidentally, it’s going to be auctioned soon.”
“Alright, got it.”
After Gina got home, she logged on to hacker websites, which she hadn’t done for a long time.
She wanted to see if there were any new bounty missions from the drug lord overseas.
Gina looked around and realized that not only were there no new missions, and even the previous bounty missions were
gone.
How is that possible?
After all, such a bounty mission would not be revoked unless completed.

Then, there was only one other possibility.
11:07 Thu, 23 May!
Chapter 113
Someone had helped her erase the bounty mission.
The drug lord was after her as a mercenary,
Who could it be that knew her identity and was kind enough to erase the mission?
Gina did not expect this.
As she checked, she saw a mission with a huge reward for finding Genevieve.
It was a bounty of 200 million dollars.
The prize money could be said to be very tempting, but no one took the order.
After all, everyone knew that it was harder than anything to find out the whereabouts of Genevieve. It was impossible to earn such money.
If it were in the past, Gina would consider accepting this mission and easily earn money.
However, at the moment, she had other important matters to deal with and was not in the mood to care about anything else. She had ignored this mission and did not continue to care.
Then, Gina received a call from the police station.
“Miss Miller, the attacker insisted that she didn’t like you and felt disgusted when she saw your face. That’s why she splashed. the sulfuric acid on you. She didn’t get instructed by anyone.
“We also checked her phone records and chat records. We really didn’t find anything suspicious.
“We think she might have an antisocial personality who attacked you indiscriminately. Or maybe she’s m e t a l l y ill.
“However, her intentional assault is quite serious. She will definitely go to jail.
“Okay, thanks. Got it.”
Gina hung up.
She did not believe the woman’s words. She called Michael and said, “Help me investigate someone.
“Okay!”
After the call ended, C i n a’ s phone rang non-stop.
When she saw the name “Phillip on the caller ID, Gina was stunned. Ever since she left the Miller family, Gina had followed through and stopped caring about it. Therefore, she did not know how Phillip, who had a stroke, was doing recently. She only remembered that Dylan had mentioned to her that the Miller family members had transferred Phillip from Prover Hospital to Vegate Central Hospital.
After hesitating for a moment, Gina answered the call.
She didn’t say anything and waited for Phillip to speak. He didn’t say anything either. Gina frowned and felt that something was wrong. She was speechless and planned to hang up.
Then, she heard Phillip’s h**e and stuttering voice. “Gi-Gina.”

Chapter 114
When he spoke, it was as if his mouth was full of saliva and he was slurring his words.
Are you listening?”
“Is something wrong?”
“I, I miss you. I want to see you.”
Gina was stunned. She did not waver at all. She did not think that Phillip’s words came from the bottom of his heart.
She even found it quite ridiculous
She still clearly remembered that Phillip did not hide his disdain when he looked at her. He was unconditionally biased toward Olivia because he believed Olivia’s one-sided words and even wanted to hit Gina.
He said fiercely. “You’re my daughter. Even if I beat you to death, it won’t be a problem.”
Gina only picked up the call because Phillip was now a patient.
“Stop joking. Mr. Miller. Also, didn’t anyone tell you? I have nothing to do with the Miller family anymore. I even signed a severance agreement.”
Phillip seemed a little surprised. “W-why?”
Gina sneered contemptuously. “Shouldn’t you know that?”
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line.
“Gina, please, can you come and see me one last time? I really want to see you,” Phillip said with difficulty.
