Chapter 131
An hour later, as Gabriel instructed, David gathered all the workers working in the hospital that day.
Out of the seven people expected, only six showed up.
“One person was fired by the leader that day for not doing a good job,” David explained.
“The person who was fired is called Yale. He just came here not long ago as an apprentice, and I heard he’s quite old.”
“I think this person is the most suspicious, so I’ve already sent someone to find him. But, after checking his identity and trying to trace him, we found nothing. He must be using a fake identity.”
In that case, the remaining six people were basically cleared of suspicion.
“Mr. Jackson, can we let them leave? They said they are in a hurry to start work today.
“Wait.”
Gabriel decided to go ask them some questions himself
“Do any of you remember what Yale looks like? Can you roughly describe him?” Gabriel asked.
They looked at each other for a moment.
Suddenly, a worker slapped his head. “I took a photo the other day. I think I just happened to take a photo of him!”
“Let me see.”
“Okay, okay.”
The worker showed Gabriel the photo which only showed the person’s back wearing a worker’s uniform and a hard hat, without capturing his face,
Gabriel asked the worker to send him the photo, and then David gave them money for their hard work and allowed them to leave.
With this photo, along with checking the surveillance footage, he would have more clues about the person,
“Mr. Jackson, have a good rest. I’ll oversee the work. If there are any new clues, I’ll call you immediately,” David said.
Gabriel shook his head. “No, I’m going to tell Gina this good news.”
He was really thinking about her.

Detention center.
Gina came to the guest room again.
“Gina, I’ve got some key
key clues in hand. The truth will be revealed soon.”
Gabriel sounded slightly excited
Gina smiled faintly at Gabriel’s excitement and suddenly felt like teasing him. “So you’ve been busy with these things for the past two days.”

“What’s wrong?” Gabriel was stunned.
“No one has come to visit me since I came in.”
Olivia had come, but Gina didn’t consider her a visitor, and Olivia wasn’t there for a visit either.
The smile on Gabriel’s face disappeared. I’m sorry, Gina. I was planning to tell you the good news after finding evidence of your innocence. I’m sorry. I should have come to visit you immediately. I was wrong”
Gabriel blamed himself for disappointing Gina,
Gina was somewhat surprised. She was only joking with him and neither accused nor got angry with him. She didn’t expect his reaction to be so strong.

“She saw the announcement from the Jackson Group and thought I didn’t believe you. But she had no other choice. She didn’t know who else to turn to,
so she came to me for help.”
Gina knew that Gabriel wasn’t helping her investigate because of her godmother’s plea. Hearing that her godmother had begged him made Gina feel inexplicably sad.
“What happened next?” asked Gina.
“Ruby misunderstood the announcement. I told her that I would prove your innocence, so I let her go home to rest
Gabriel chuckled. “Actually, it’s not just Ruby who misunderstood. My dad did too. He also thought that by issuing the announcement, I didn’t trust you, and he scolded me for being ungrateful.”
Gina was somewhat surprised, then jokingly said, “So, it’s my fault for making you issue the announcement?”
“No, of course not, Gina. I’m saying all this to tell you that you’re not alone. Many people care about you and love you.”
Gina was stunned, feeling a rush of happiness in her heart.
She smiled genuinely, with a hint of joy in her clear, bright eyes.
Gabriel also noticed this and felt very pleased.
“I’m sorry for making you worry. I should tell you that even if I’m in prison, there will be people helping me and working on proving my innocence.”
Gabriel knew that Gina had so many hidden identities, so her subordinates were definitely not idle. However, Gabriel didn’t want to be someone who just benefited from others’ efforts. If he liked Gina/he should be willing to contribute to her.
“In the future, you can entrust me with anything” Gabriel said seriously.
