Gina wouldn’t have eaten anything that were sent by a random person. This realization made Dylan angry. “Gina trusted her so much, but she tried to kill her with poison? What a snake!”
At that moment, David walked into Dylan’s room. “Mr. Jackson, we’ve found the person who made the pie,” David said solemnly.
“Let her in.” Gabriel’s tone was cold as ice.
Cathy was still oblivious about what had happened. When she was brought over to see Gabriel, she was quite nervous.
The moment she saw Gabriel, Cathy didn’t dare to make eye contact with him. She said with her head down, ‘Mr. Jackson, why are you looking for me?”
Cathy thought it must be because of Andy’s past action. “Is it because my boyfriend scratched your car? Don’t worry, we’re already working hard to earn money. We’ll definitely cover for your car’s repair. We won’t go back on our word!” She said sincerely.
Gabriel ignored Cathy’s nonsense and went straight to the point. “You put rat poison in your pumpkin pie, didn’t you?”
Cathy was shocked. She lifted her eyes and looked at Gabriel. His cold eyes were filled with restrained anger as if he wanted to throw her off a cliff. Cathy unconsciously broke out in cold sweat and hurriedly denied, “I didn’t! How could I possibly put rat poison in my food?”
Cathy returned to her senses and asked, “Miss Miller, did something happened to her?”
Gabriel didn’t have the patience to deal with her. “Then why is this box of pumpkin pie that you made has rat poison in it? Tell me the truth, and you’ll have the luxury of a quick death!”
Cathy was mortified. ‘Is he going to kill me? But why? What did I do wrong?”
Cathy quickly shook her head, “Mr. Jackson, I made my pumpkin pie with organic ingredients, and Miss Miller has been kind to me. Why would I repay her kindness in such a twisted way?”

“So you’re saying that someone framed you?” Dylan chimed in
Cathy nodded her head repeatedly. “I can guarantee that when I made the pumpkin pie and delivered it to Miss Miller, I did’t put any chemicals in it. There should be no problem with it
“But after your pumpkin pie fell into Gina’s hands, she had been carrying it alone. Then, she went to see Mr. Jackson. Co it be that someone put rat poison when she carried it? Or did a ghost put rat poison while you were mixing the custard pic had put Gina’s life in grave danger, and Dylan refused to buy Cathy’s words.
“I-I don’t know! But I bet on my life that my pumpkin pie is no the problem. Could it be Miss Miller ate something e today?” Cathy guessed in a daze.
David suddenly interrupted, “Mr. Jackson, after investigation, we found out that Cathy and Olivia are friends,”
David’s words made Dylan and Gabriel even more suspicious of Cathy.
Gabriel recalled about Olivia and her cheap friends such as Lily Allen, Hazel Baker, and the list went on. They once colluded with Olivia to frame Gina. Because of this, Gabriel looked at Cathy coldly, “Did you plot something with Olivia? You and that b*tch plans to kill Gina, right?”
“No, absolutely not!” Cathy cried out in fear.
“So she framed you?” Dylan asked.

Cathy thought for a moment and answered, “No, I didn’t even tell her. Baking that pumpkin pie for Miss Miller was my initiative. How could she possibly put rat poison in the pie?” Although Cathy knew there was a deep hatred between Olivia and Gina, she didn’t want to wrongly accuse Olivia

Cathy started to stutter. She wasn’t someone who was good at lying. Moreover, she had always remembered her mother’s teachings and treated others sincerely. However, she didn’t want to implicate Andy.
Gabriel didn’t have the patience to waste a second with her. He immediately instructed David, “Check her phone.”
