Ethan retorted, “Who the f*ck asked you to harm me? You almost got me killed by Gabriel! It took me a whole day to recover in the hospital.”
Olivia was even angrier at his accusation. “What exactly happened? Tell me!”
“Didn’t you find a man named Mike and ask him to come to me for money? He rented a truck and a drum of gasoline to Gina’s car. You hired him to kill her, didn’t you? Or is he one of your bootlickers? F*ck it, you have way too many f*cking bootlickers!”
Olivia’s face was dark red. “Who the f*ck Mike? I don’t know him at all! And what happened to that b*tch Gina?”
“She didn’t get hurt, not even a scratch!” When Ethan said this, he wanted to laugh. He couldn’t figure out how Gina could escape such a grim situation. She had incredible luck.
Olivia gasped and chuckled sarcastically, “So she wasn’t injured?
“Didn’t I tell you? Not a scratch! Otherwise, why would Gabriel strangle me? You know he was head over heels for Gina. Also, Gabriel was in the same car as Gina at that time. So, if Gina died Gabriel would likely die too. Ethan angrily explained.
“That d’mn Mike said he wouldn’t expose me. He promised there would be no evidence even if he died. I believed him. The place where I met him and even the surveillance footage was deleted. But I didn’t expect that kid to be so clumsy by leaving one important recording. That must be your idea. After all, you hate me so much!”

“An ex-convict?” Olivia made a bold guess. “I think he had been in jail before.”
After saying that, Olivia browsed the list of wanted fugitives and found Mike’s name. She showed Ethan the information while explaining, “A prison break. He was able to find you because he escaped. Now, do you believe Mike has nothing to do with me? Why would I help him out anyway?”
