Chapter 240
Olivia turned to leave, dropping a mocking remark. “Some people are just destined to be poor workers.”
Andy hesitated and called out to Olivia. “I’ll trust you this once, but why are you telling me about this money-making opportunity? Are you really that kind?”
Olivia rolled her eyes. “Of course, it’s because I need to recruit people. There’s money to be made.
Hearing Olivia say this, Andy actually started to believe her more.
Gabriel finally had the chance to accompany Gina to Oriata City Cina, what brings you to Oriata City? Can you tell me
now?”
“Business”
“Business? Whose company?” Gabriel was somewhat surprised.
“Quaria Jewelry.”
A flicker of astonishment crossed Gabriel’s eyes, but he quickly took in the information. It was normal for someone as outstanding as Gina to have another identity.
“Quaria Jewelry has always been managed by Michael. It’s about time I came back to check on things.”
Gabriel nodded in understanding.
“I’ll accompany you,” Gabriel said. “I’ll drop you off at the company first, then I’ll go back to the hotel.”
“Please book a room for me.” Gina suddenly said.
Gabriel was a bit surprised. “Gina, I thought you had a home in Oriata City, so I only booked a room for myself at the hotel
“There is a house, but… Gina cleared her throat. “I don’t want to stay there.”
It was so boring living alone in a big, empty house.
Gabriel smiled. “Alright, I’ll book a room right next to mine. How’s that?”
“Sounds good,”
Gabriel dropped Gina off at the Quaria building.
Tll pick you up when you get off work.”
“Okay” Gina waved to Gabriel and turned to enter the Quaria building.
She didn’t let Michael announce her identity and return, and she naturally blended into the crowd.
Passersby would occasionally stop to look at her because of her gold and beautiful face,
Her phone rang, and Gina saw it was a call from Michael. She walked to a quiet safety passage to answer the call.

Inside the safety passage, a smell of smoke wafted through the air, causing Gina to frown as she answered the call.
“Gina, have you arrived at Quana? How about we have dinner together tonight? It’s been a while since we last got together,”

If it weren’t for Gina’s request for him not to personally greet her wanting to inspect the company discreetly, he could have met Gina sooner. To restrain his urge to go find Gina, Michael had not even gone to the company today.
“Sure, can I bring someone along?”
Gina’s inquiry made Michael’s spirits instantly plummet.
He didn’t want to be a spoilsport. “Is it Gabriel?”
“Yes.”
“If you don’t feel like it. I won’t invite him.”
Michael let out a soft, bitter chuckle. It’s fine. Let’s have dinner together.”
“Okay.” After hanging up the phone, Gina left the safety passage.
She continued to inspect various departments.
Upon arriving at the marketing department, Gina could tell by the orderly working staff that Michael had managed Quaria very well.
There was no need for her to worry.
Just as she was about to visit other departments, someone called out to her. “Are you here for an interview?”
Gina turned around to see a woman dressed in professional attire, her badge engraved with the name, Zelda Jensen.
“Are you lost?” Zelda asked thoughtfully. “I can show you the way to the interview area.”
“Quaria is a big place. It’s normal to get lost the first time you visit.”

Gina inquired, “May I ask who you are?”
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Zelda Jensen, the director of the marketing department. Nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you. My name is Gina Miller.” Gina nodded and greeted her.
She did not correct Zelda’s assumption that she was there for an interview, and let Zelda lead her to the interview area.
“Here you
are.
. I wish you success and look forward to the day you join Quaria. Zelda offered encouragement.
Cina didn’t say much, “Goodbye.”
Zelda watched as Gina’s figure disappeared into the crowd before turning back to the marketing department.
“Holly shit, have any of you ever seen Zelda being so polite to a newcomer? Even showing her the way… Goodness, is she crazy?”
“No idea, it’s really creepy.”
Just as Zelda reached the entrance to the office area, she overhead her subordinates gossiping, and she heavily stepped inside. “Are you all that idle? Do you have time to gossip here?”
The subordinates instantly lowered their heads.
Zelda rolled her eyes, what a bunch of fool-
