The crisp sound fell into Spencer’s ears as if it were about to break his tense nerves. Then, Colin shouted. “Are you assuming I’m short of gold? Do you know how many assets I have?”
Spencer was sweating profusely. He suspected Colin wouldn’t stop anytime soon. To his fear, Colin continued. “It seems you understand nothing, Mr. Wilson. You’ve disappointed me.”
“Mr. Barnes, there’s… there’s another box. I beg you, please give me a chance to open it!” Spencer hurriedly begged.
“Could it be money inside? Spencer, you’ve humiliated me by making me feel like this. Do I look like I’m short of money? Do I need you to give me money?” Colin questioned coldly.
Spencer shook his head vigorously. “No, it’s not money.”
Colin crossed his legs. “Alright, I’ll give you a chance to open it.
Spencer didn’t waste a second and opened the box. The lights in the room were dim, but the jewelry in the box was sparkling.
When Colin saw the box’s contents, he laughed out loud. However, he didn’t like it. Instead, he felt Spencer was messing out with him.
“You gave me Top Shrine’s jewelry? Do you think this brand is good enough to be presented to me and my family
Before Colin could make things difficult for him, Spencer explained, “Sir, this is not Top Shrine, it’s Quaria Jewelry!”

Colin was stunned. He didn’t expect Spencer, the Top Shrine CEO, to buy him Quaria Jewelry, whereas Spencer regarded them as his company’s rival. However, when he heard it was jewelry from Quaria, Colin was curious to see what it looked like. He frowned and said, “But what do you mean by giving me women’s jewelry? Are you making fun of me?”
“No, Sir, this isn’t for you. It’s for your sister!”
“For Elaine?” Colin was interested. “Really? For my sister? Are you telling me you want to marry my sister?”
“I wouldn’t dare! I’m not worthy of her, Sir” Spencer had never seen Elaine before. But even if Elaine was more beautiful than Gina, he didn’t dare to dream of being her lover.
“It’s mainly because I heard Miss Barnes likes Quaria Jewelry, so bought this for her. I know you’re looking after her well, s as long as Miss Barnes is happy, I think you’ll be happy too.” Spencer explained fearfully.
Colin finally smiled sincerely. He stood up and patted Spencer’s shoulder, scaring Spencer so much that his legs weak. He subconsciously knelt before Colin, and Colin praised, “Okay, okay, Mr. Wilson, I misunderstood you. You do know how to cater to my interests. I believe my sister will like it very much.”
Elaine would never complain about having too much jewelry. However, Colin hadn’t told Elaine that Gina was the chairman of Quaria Jewelry. He wondered if his sister would still like the brand after she found out.
Spencer laughed awkwardly, trying to please Colin, and Colin pressed down on his shoulder. “Alright, Mr. Wilson, why are you st
still kneeling? Please, sit down.”
“Okay, okay. Spencer sat down in fear.
Colin also sat down. He took a piece of paper and slowly wiped the hand he had touched Spencer with. Spencer saw it and didn’t dare to protest.
“Mr. Wilson, the jewelry you gave me is quite good. I wish us a happy collaboration. Colin raised his cup. “However, I still have one more condition, and I hope you’ll agree.”
