Chapter 359
Lisa paused to listen to what Gina was going to say next.
Gina immediately declared, “Mi. Atkinson, I can agree to let Chuck off the h o o k for once.”
Willie looked at Lise after he saw Gina was willing to relent. Lisa immediately nodded. “Miss Miller’s opinion represents mine.”
Chuck heaved a sigh of relief. He did not dare to be too smug. He only looked at Max provocatively and said reluctantly, “Princess Lisa, I’ll hand Ben over to you immediately. I’ll do my best to cooperate with the subsequent investigation. I’m also willing to compensate the victims who bought the illegal medicines.”
In Lisa’s opinion, Chuck’s attitude of admitting his mistake was good. She was more satisfied with the outcome of the matter. She nodded and said, “I hope you can recognize your mistake and repent and correct it from now on.”
“I will.” Chuck lied through his teeth.
Then Chuck made a phone call and called Ben directly from his villa to the manor. When Ben saw Gina, he was not afraid at all.
However, Ben quickly recognized Princess Lisa beside Gina. He was instantly terrified.
At that moment, Chuck said, “Princess Lisa, the mastermind behind selling the illegal medicines is here. You can take him away
Ben instantly reacted when he heard that Chuck had called him over to hand him over to Gina.
“Mr. Chuck, what does this mean? I’m the mastermind?”
Chuck could not be bothered to waste his breath on Ben.
Ben was horrified. He still wanted to struggle. He crawled to Chuck and knelt to beg him, “Mr. Chuck, you can’t treat me like this. I’ve worked for you for ten years. I’ve worked hard even if I didn’t contribute
Chuck kicked Ben away impatiently. “Enough. I’ve never mistreated you in the past ten years. Get lost.”
When Ben saw Chuck was unreliable, he cursed, “Bustard. A s s h o e. Heartless thing. You’ll die horribly!”
Lisa quickly called someone in, took Ben under control, and waited putside. She then stood up and bade farewell. “Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Atkinson. Sorry to bother you. Gina. Let’s go.”

Gina nodded and left with Lisa.
Chuck stared at Gina’s back with his hands clenched. Although he had avoided jail time, the follow-up compensation would hurt him badly. He was not
done with Gina!
Of course.
Chuck’s gaze fell on Max. He would not let go of Max, the traitor, either. Therefore, Chuck started to attack Max again the minute Lisa and the others left.
Of course, Max was not to be outdone and fought with Chuck
Chuck pressed Max to the ground. “You b a s a r d. Did you help Gina steal the account book?”
Max mocked Chuck. “You’ve done those outrageous things, and you’ll have to pay the price sooner or later. You should thank me for giving you a chance to repent!”
Chapter 359
Chuck ground his teeth. “What right do you have to judge me? You b a st a r d i”
He threw a punch at Max but failed. Max lifted his knee to Chuck’s abdomen. Chuck was in pain and was at a disadvantage, so he was pressed to the ground by Max.
Max punched Chuck several times in a rOW.
Suddenly, someone grabbed Max’s hand. Max looked up and saw Willie.
“Dad…” Max was stunned.
Willie hauled Max to his feet and slapped him. Max froze in place. Chuck saw his father was helping him and was pleased with himself. He wanted to hit Max back, but Willie pushed him away, Chuck was puzzled. “Dad?”
“Haven’t you fought enough?” Willie scolded.
Chuck realized his father
was an
angry, so he did not continue to hit Max.
Willie asked Max, “Am I not good to you?”
Max’s pupils constricted. “Yes.”
“Then why did you help an outsider to betray our family?”
Max frowned. “But Max did something wrong, didn’t he?”
“Yes. But it’s not your turn to judge him. You have disappointed me, Max. A family should be united. So, you’ve never treated us as a family, have you?”
Faith stepped forward and grabbed Willie’s arm. “I’m sorry, Honey, Max knows his mistake. Don’t be mad. Max is not an ungrateful child. He treats us as a
family.”
Willie closed his eyes. He did not want to hear anyone pleading for Max. He asked, “What did you help Gina and Princess Lisa with? Tell me the truth.”
Max said bluntly, “I only said that Max might have put the account book somewhere. I didn’t do anything else.”
Gina did not let him get too involved in the matter.
