Chapter 389
The next day.
Dylan returned to the Thomas family,
Ever since he quarreled with James last time and parted on bad terms, he returned home less frequently. The relationship between the two brothers was not good to begin with, and his father was biased towards James. He did not get involved in the family’s business and did not come back. It was not a big deal and he was happy to be free.
Mr. Thomas was drinking tea. When he saw his youngest son return, he was pleasantly surprised. “You’re back?”
“Yeah,”
Dylan sat down and the atmosphere eased up. No one mentioned the previous quarrel and just treated it as the past.
He first chatted with his father.
Then, he mentioned that Gina had asked him to help find a few experts in fertility to form the “artificial uterus” medical team.
“Evan, you have connections in this area. Can you help me contact them?” Dylan asked.
“Sure, no problem,” Evan said and agreed readily.
After all, Gina was his yo
youngest son’s savior. It was not an unreasonable request. It was not a problem for him to help.
Hearing his father’s affirmative answer, Dylan’s mood became very good. “Sorry to trouble you, Evan.”
“You and I are father and son. Why are you being so polite?” Evan smiled.

“The artificial uterus project sounds good,” Shawn said.
Shawn came down from the second floor.
When Dylan saw Shawn’s figure, his expression changed slightly, but he still greeted him politely, “Shawn
Shawn responded indifferently. He also sat on the sofa. “Dylan, I heard that Gina arranged for you to be the president of Clago Orphanage.”
“That’s right,” Dylan replied calmly. He did not want to continue this topic.
Because he knew that if he continued this topic, there would definitely be unhappiness.
However, it was obvious that Shawn’s thoughts were completely different from his. “Gina trusts you very much and has placed you in an important position. Does she also want you to be in charge of the artificial uterus project?”
“No,” Dylan answered truthfully. Gina probably wanted to be in charge of this project herself.
Shawn continued, “Dylan, although Gina saved you, you’ve been doing your best to help her these past few years. She’s ordering you around so casually, and you’re willing to do anything for her? Even if she wants your help, aren’t you going to raise any conditions?”
Dylan’s expression darkened. The last time the two brothers parted on bad terms, it was because Shawn had instigated him to arrange for his family members to work at Prover Hospital Shawn had accused him that since he was Prover Hospital’s second-in-command, why did he not lead his relatives to climb up the ranks?
Dylan directly refused. Shawn wanted him to bring in Prover Hospital’s relatives, but Dylan knew that if those relatives were not the real deal, letting them work would not only ruin Prover Hospital’s reputation, but it would also be no different from killing people for money.
Naturally, Dylan did not agree. Shawn tried to coax and pester him, but he did not succeed, so the two of them started arguing

Chapter 389
Shawn accused Dylan of being inflexible and disregarding the prosperity of his family. He only knew how to serve Gina loyally.
At that time, Evan was also present and watched them argue. However, Evan was on Shawn’s side, Evan felt that it was not a problem for him to use Gina’s resources to make the family mensbeis successful.
Dylan did not want to do something that went against his conscience and hurt others
“You’re talking about how Miss Miller treats me?”
Before Dylan could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Shawn. He knew what Dylan wanted to say next, so he directly interrupted, “She saved your life, so it’s only right for you to help her. You don’t expect anything in return, right? You’ve helped her do her best for so long, Isn’t that enough to repay her kindness? Besides, this time, she wants to make use of the Thomas family’s resources. What’s wrong with asking her for something in return? Isn’t that very reasonable?”.
Shawn sneered in disdain.
Dylan did not want to talk anymore. He felt that if he continued to chat, he would have to quarrel with Shawn again,
He simply said goodbye to Evan. “Evan, I’ll get going first.”
Shawn clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction. “Dylan, I say, why are you so single-minded? Can our family’s resources be handed over to others for nothing without asking for anything in return? If you’re embarrassed to ask Gina for benefits, I can help you.”
Dylan frowned. Just as he stopped in his tracks, he heard Shawn say, “Evan, don’t help Gina anymore. It’s so strenuous and Gina just treats Dylan as free labor. Forget it. Does our entire family have to work like cows and horses for her?”
