Dylan calmly called Gina and spoke with an air of formality. “Miss Miller, here’s the situation. Mr. Barnes has brought his sister for treatment. They seem urgent, but I remember your instructions and did not admit them immediately. However, Mr. Barnes insists on having his sister treated and admitted to our hospital. What is your opinion?”
Colin took a deep breath, suppressing the anger surging in his chest, and listened to what Gina had to say.

Sitting in her wheelchair, Elaine wanted to curse but held back.
Colin forced a polite tone. “Miss Miller, can we talk directly?”

“It depends on my mood,” Gina replied leisurely.
Colin could no longer bring himself to plead with Gina. He gave a cold smile and said with a warning. “Fine. Miss Miller, despite our past grievances, haven’t we always settled them mutually? I think this for-tat game is quite interesting, but you should know when to stop, right?”
He implied that Gina shouldn’t push them too far. If she kept stringing them along, they would get desperate.
“It is you who doesn’t understand when to stop. I’ll decide when the game ends,” Gina responded. “Whether your sister’s legs can be treated depends entirely on me. The decision to admit her for treatment rests on my mood. Do you understand, Mr. Barnes?”

Elaine couldn’t hold back her temper any longer. “Gina, if you dare to delay on purpose and make me a I swear…”
Colin patted Elaine’s shoulder, signaling her to stop. Elaine felt incredibly aggrieved but was truly afraid that Gina would refuse to admit her, leaving her permanently in a wheelchair.
“Let’s go home,” Colin said. Before leaving, he shot a fierce glare at Dylan, who remained unfazed and raised an eyebrow indifferently.
Olivia arrived at Ethan’s place. She had some matters she wanted to discuss with him.
As she entered the living room, she saw Ethan asleep on the sofa.

Ethan, still shaken from his nightmare, wasn’t in the mood to listen to Olivia.
