As she spoke. Sienna clenched her fingers tightly; her face twisted slightly with tension.

Seeing how pale she looked, Jean quickly spoke up. “Mom, are you okay?”

“I’m fine…” Sienna pressed her lips together, trying to appear calm, but the storm behind her eyes betrayed her fragile state.

Jean noticed her hands were shaking.
