Chapter 475

He gently picked up the child and slipped out of the hospital room without Adah noticing a thing.

Nathan's eyes went wide with shock when he saw this play out on the screen.

"This is fake! Turn it off, now-turn it off!" he shouted, lunging for the remote, but the security guards held him back firmly.

The footage on the big screen suddenly shifted, cutting to a scene at an orphanage.

On a pitch-black night, Nathan abandoned Claire at the orphanage's doorstep. Towering over the tiny newborn, he sneered cruelly. "If you weren't still useful to me, I'd feed you to the dogs," he spat. "When you're older, if your kidney matches Sophia's, I'll take it out and give it to her myself."

With those venomous words, Nathan scoffed, climbed into his car, and sped away.

Nathan's heart plummeted. It was over-completely over.

After everyone in the hall watched the two videos, the way they looked at Nathan changed utterly. There was no trace of sympathy left-only disgust and fury.

"So everything he just said was a lie. He just wanted to use public opinion to threaten the Tempest family."

"He actually tried to use us as pawns for his own gain."
