Sherilyn was set on having this baby; she wasn't about to take any risks.

Today wasn't a recording day, but rather a meeting to discuss the upcoming show schedule. Sherilyn sat quietly in the corner, listening attentively and only chiming in when asked about her expertise.

As the meeting was winding down, her replacement from the dance troupe arrived.

After handing over, Sherilyn slipped out of the conference room, unnoticed.

"Sherilyn!"

Heading towards the dressing room, someone called out to her.

Turning, she saw it was the producer of the show. "Mr. Hale?"

"Good, you haven't left yet."

Mr. Hale smiled, nodding. "You're about to head out, so I'll cut to the chase. Sherilyn, how about joining the inner circle?"

It wasn't entirely unexpected. Sherilyn smiled, politely declining. "Thank you for the offer, but I don't think it's the right fit for me."

"Why not?"

Mr. Hale waved his hand dismissively, his eyes shining with excitement.

"I've had my eye on you for quite some time. This show has gathered many talented women in the industry, but the moment you step on stage, you outshine them all. You're the brightest star!" Despite such high praise, Sherilyn simply smiled. "You're too kind, but a career isn't built on looks alone."
