After finishing her coffee, Sherilyn glanced at her watch.

"I've got a meeting this afternoon. Time to head out."

"Okay."

Sherilyn stood still, watching him get into his car and speed away.

Suddenly, she felt a bit dazed.

This thoughtful and considerate Mr. Gilbert - was he really the same person who had been so cold and distant in the past?

However, the more he improved, the more vividly her memories of the past emerged in her mind.

The cold breeze made Sherilyn wrap her coat tighter around herself before she turned to go back inside.

...

Finding some free time, Sherilyn decided to visit the TV station.

Lauren had called, telling her she'd left some belongings at the station and that she had gathered them for her to pick up when she had a moment.

Upon arriving, Sherilyn found Lauren, collected her things, and was about to leave when she bumped into a familiar face.

Blake was on his phone, sounding quite urgent, "No, it's just not glamorous enough. What do you mean by 'enough'? Alright... I get it..."

After hanging up, Blake couldn't help but curse under his breath, "Damn it! Why don't you try finding something then?"
