That Night

Rebecca White lay asleep in her dorm room. Suddenly, she sat up in the dark, her hands fumbling around as if searching for something. Finally, her fingers wrapped around her pillow. She let out a big sigh of relief and hugged it tightly to her chest, murmuring softly,

She wandered around the room, still clutching the pillow. Out of nowhere, she bumped into the coat rack, hitting her forehead hard. She froze, her eyes staring blankly ahead before her eyelids drooped, and she collapsed onto the floor.
