She stared at him and shot back, "You think I'm afraid? That I care if it hurts? Let it hurt then! I hope it tears me apart, leaves me in pieces! Hurt me so badly you won't ever look back, so you can just walk away! Then I'll finally be free!"

With that, she flung her arm and ran out of the room.

The nurse hurried after him. "Sir, you should come take a look at Ms. Bennett- she's shaking terribly!"

He forced himself to stay calm. "Call the doctor. She needs a sedative."
