Natalie was busy packing at home when Uriah came bursting through the door, nearly out of breath. “Miss Natalie, our family store has been smashed up!”

“A warning would’ve sufficed,” Natalie replied, her mind elsewhere.

Uriah usually handled these small things on his own, whether vandalism or a robbery. She didn’t understand why he needed to inform her this time.

“It’s not that…” Uriah handed her a laptop. “You need to see the security footage!”

Taking the laptop, Natalie glanced at the screen and felt a jolt of recognition. The ringleader of the vandalism was Reid.
