Chapter 344 Feeling of Being Tipsy

Arthur’s handsome, sharp face showed no emotion, but his deep eyes were fixed on the two of them, radiating a cold, frosty aura.

Charlotte, a little unsteady, leaned on Pete’s arm, unaware of the change in atmosphere. With her eyes half–lidded, she said, “I… I just really enjoy this feeling of being tipsy. You know, tipsy… It’s like floating like all my worries are gone!”

Pete withdrew his gaze, his eyes landing on her face. She was a little drunk, her pale skin flushed with a faint rosy hue. Her already delicate features appeared even more adorable in her tipsy state. Every small, unconscious movement seemed to tug at his heartstrings.

He replied softly, “I get it. Which is your place? Let me open the door for you.”

Charlotte turned around and pointed at a door, swaying slightly. “This is my place! Wait here, I’ll open it for you. You came all the way to Lanceser, and I never even invited you over. Now that you’re here, come in and have a sit.”
