Chapter 465 We Are Not Enemies

Charlotte furrowed her brows, but the server hurriedly shoved the burn ointment into her hands and ran off.

She stared at the ointment in her hand, her brows knitting together.

Arthur watched as her expression grew colder. He spoke in a deep voice, "We've divorced, but we're not enemies, right? It's just putting on some ointment."

Charlotte's lips tightened. She opened the ointment lid and said, "Your hand."

Seeing this, Arthur raised an eyebrow and then said, "There's a vacant private room over there. Let's go inside to apply the ointment."

Charlotte rejected him directly. "No need. It's just applying ointment. It won't take long."

Arthur gazed at her delicate face for a moment before raising his hand.

Charlotte dabbed a bit of ointment onto her fingers and gently applied it to the burned area. It didn't take long before she was done.

She handed the ointment back to him and said, "All done."

This time, she turned to leave, heading straight to the restroom, and he couldn't stop her.

Holding the ointment, his gaze remained fixed on her as she walked away. His throat constricted, and a bitter taste spread inside him.
