The bitterness in Cedrick’s mouth was so thick that he could not even speak. He downed a whole glass of water before the bitterness subsided.

After taking the medicine, he felt drained. He collapsed against the bed frame. His eyelashes fluttered as his entire body trembled. He felt weak.
