"You've eaten my lipstick away, haven't you?!" Patricia grumbled as she felt her lips.

However, Isaac thought the color of her lips looked even better now that they were looking bright red, and he helped her wipe the lipstick outside the corner of her lips away with a smile. "No, you're looking even more gorgeous now!"

With that, he got up and pulled her up. "Let's go out and have some fun."

But the young woman was still obsessing over her lipstick. "You look great, really!" he reassured her while helping her put the mask on before finally putting on his.

Finally, Patricia dropped the issue after hearing his words, all smiles. It felt like forever since she whined like a little girl, and now, with Isaac's coddles, she thought she had aged back into a little girl.

The atmosphere in the banquet hall was great, as there were many people in freaky costumes, like a bloody nurse and a demon on the stretcher, making the whole place creepy and atmospheric.


Patricia blinked curiously as he looked around, and she thought the party was rather interesting when she really couldn't make out who was who.

Just then, a group of people traversed the crowd, and Patricia and Isaac weren't only forced to part hands, but Patricia was even forced to follow the crowd a distance ahead.

When she was finally able to escape, she turned around to look for Isaac, but lo and behold, the lights dimmed.

Nikola flew down from the floor above in a tailcoat and a vampire mask, looking dashing like a real vampire had shown up.

Everyone applauded in awe, and after he landed, all the spotlights shone on him. Then, as someone helped him undo the cable, he raised his arms and sang, "The party officially begins! You can now invite your partner to dance!"

Meanwhile, Patricia kept looking for Isaac in the dim lighting, but there were too many people, and she could barely make out anything.

Worst of all, everyone was now inviting their partners to dance, and just like that, the hall became a ball.

With no choice, Patricia could only retreat from the dance floor and watch the people dance to the upbeat music and have fun.

As she still couldn't locate Isaac, she shifted aside and circled the entire hall but to no avail when she returned to where she started. At that, she exhaled a murky breath.

She left her bag and coat in the cloakroom, and they were all kept from bringing a phone in, so it was nearly impossible to find anyone.

At that, she bit her lip and looked around, only to have grim reapers and demons passing by every now and then.

Thank goodness Sylvie isn't here, or she might get traumatized if she sees all of this.
