Now that the factory's affairs were basically handled, he planned to return to the country in a few days.

After work that day, Nathan did not return home. Instead, he went to a villa at the countryside.

Nathan had bought that villa last year. He intended to let Irene and Eden stay here since it was situated at the countryside. The air was clean and refreshing at the villa, so it was suitable for Eden to recuperate here.

When Nathan had initially bought the villa, Britney had not agreed to his marriage with Irene. He had thought that Irene and him could never be together, so he had purchased this villa solely for Irene and Eden to settle down.
