Silas removed his apron and threw it to the floor. "Sure, I'll leave. I hope you're happy and not led around in circles." His smile faded, and he slammed the door as he left. Watching him go, Pearl had a bad feeling.

Richard's voice came from behind. "Feeling reluctant?"
