Izzy’s PO.V

I walk in to the suite and I take in the familiar smell of my Father, but then I smell something unfamiliar, Evie and I discover that the smell is all over the suite, but strongest near and in my Father’s room.

We are both puzzled and for a second we want to link Stephan and ask him about it. But we know that there is not much time, so I want to take a shower and change in to some clean clothes before my Father gets back.

As I walk in to my room. I see a few things spread out of my bed. And even though I have never seen the items before, I know that they are mine. Sitting down on my bed, I see a blanket and a note. Next to them are pictures I have never seen before.

I soon realize they were taken on the day my Father found me. I hold the blanket close and start softly crying. After a few minutes I wipe the tears from my cheeks and go to the bathroom.

After my shower I chance in to black skinny jeans and a bright blue tank top. Just as I am getting comfortable on my bed, we hear the door open and then we hear voices. I sneak to my door and peak outside.

The door is open and I see my Father walk in, his eyes on his phone. There is a young man walking right behind him and he has a huge smile on his face.

My jaw drops when I hear my Father say “Doesn’t our Daughter look gorgeous, My Love.” They walk in to the living–room and I wonder why there is no response. Suddenly I hear a faint “Izzy” coming from the living–room and I know that that is my que.

I leave my room and make my way over to the living–room. As I step in to the doorway, the guy’s jaw drops and in a second I am in his arms. I look at my Father as he hugs me even tighter.

“Izzy?” My Father whispers. “Hi, Dad. Who is this?” I ask pointing at the guy that is still hugging me, “I am Glenn and I am your Father’s Mate.” I hear through the mind–link. I look at my Father and he chuckles.
