The Radbury family’s genes were obvious just by looking at Jean’s face. She couldn’t deny even if she couldn’t remember the past. Ava thought Damien was pestering her because of Jean. “Damien, I don’t care what you’re up to. I have carried Jean for 10 months and labored for hours. Although I know that Radbury family is extremely powerful but you can’t even take him away over my dead body!”
No, she wouldn’t allow anyone to take her child away even if she died! She held Jean’s arm tightly as she had made up her mind. “Mommy, you’re squeezing me too hard, it hurts,” Jean said to her in a low voice. However, she didn’t loosen her grip. A man like Damien had everything he needed and more. He must have had a purpose to pester her. She couldn’t think of anything else besides taking Jean away from her. Jean was as important as her life, she would never give him away even if he was a descendant of the Radbury!
Damien was concentrated on driving and he slightly frowned, “Ava, is there some misunderstandings?”
The kindergarten was not far, so they had arrived at the entrance in the blink of an eye.
This was the best kindergarten in the area, according to the researches that Ava had done in advance. Although the fees were expensive, Jean’s education was more important. Even if she was frugal, she mustn’t let Jean lack in education. Damien was quite satisfied after he saw the kindergarten. She thought that he would leave after sending them to the entrance, but she didn’t expect that he would follow them shamelessly. “Why are you following us?” Ava said discontentedly. “I’m Jean’s parent too, what do you think I’m here for?” Before she could speak, Damien quickly took Jean’s hand and walked into the kindergarten’s gate. “This brat! He just promised to stand on mommy’s side last night, but he betrayed me the next morning!”

Ava was annoyed and she clenched her teeth.
Jean even turned around and shouted at her, “Mommy, hurry up, we’re late!” She followed them in an instant While they were handling the admission procedure, Ava signed the form. The teacher said to Damien, “Both parents need to sign your names and leave your contacts as well.”
Damien picked up the pen and was about to sign, but Ava handed the form to the teacher. “There’s no need, I am a single mother, and he is the driver who drives us.”
The president of Radbury Group was now her driver, so Jean looked at Damien’s expression nervously as he was afraid that he would be angry.
However, Damien didn’t seem angry at all and instead, he nodded, “Yes, I am her exclusive driver.” He emphasized the word ‘exclusive’ when he said that. The teacher couldn’t help but feel astonished. No matter how she looked at it, this gentleman who dressed in a superbly tailored suit and had an extraordinary aura couldn’t be a driver.
In fact, Ava who wore simple clothes looked like a nanny in Damien’s house. Yet the teacher didn’t dare to say anything. After they had completed all the procedures, she let the parents led their children to their class. Today was the first day of school for Jean, so Ava felt reluctant to leave him after sending him into the classroom. She could only turn her head around again and again when she was leaving.
She was worried that Jean would cry like other children as it was an unfamiliar environment. After all, most of the children in the class let out miserable breathless cries after their parents left. The teachers were busy comforting the children one after another, as they were all over the place.
However, Jean just stayed by the window and waved to them, as if nothing happened.
“It looks like Jean isn’t very clinging to you,” Damien said casually. “What do you mean? He is clinging! He wants to be by my side every day!” Ava was nervous all of a sudden, as she was afraid that Damien would find an excuse to snatch Jean away from her anytime. Damien smiled faintly, “Why are you so wary of me? I’ve never said that I wanted to take Jean to the Radbury family immediately.” “Really?”
“I know that you don’t remember me and most probably don’t want to go back with me. I won’t force you nor your child.” Ava was rather surprised to hear him saying those words.
Since it was impossible to see through him, she couldn’t be sure if it was just a deferment.
