Everyone turned to look at Calliope, hope flickering in their eyes.

Calliope caught their gazes and offered a warm, gentle smile. "Thank you, everyone. I know you all want me to stay, but like Lisette just said, I'm not part of the Jewell family anymore. I don't have the right to be here."
