It was already past nine-thirty. Alicia did not rush to the company but took an aimless walk on the streets instead.

For the first time, she did not even have the energy to make money. She had to receive clients and she did not think she could do well with her current condition.

She had no idea what to do. Coincidentally, Mrs. Blanchard called her, therefore she drove home.

The whole day, she helped her mother but she was muddled and disorientated. They wrapped things up at noon and Mrs. Blanchard went to the market to get some fresh prawns for dinner.

"Have you been busy, Ally? Why haven't you come home for so long? Eat more! They're all your favorites! I've also made some pie with handmade chicken filling, you should take them home as snacks!"

Forking her a big, steamed prawn, Mrs. Blanchard took two looks at her and thought, "When she comes back in the past, she would be quiet but she is still relaxed. This time, it is obvious that she is depressed."

Taking up her fork, Alicia put some shrimps on her mother's plate. "I'm already full. Mom, you should have more!"

In the past, she used to come home whenever she had free time. At present, she had not returned in a long time. Mrs. Blanchard figured that Alicia would not even come if she had not made the phone call. Her daughter would always share the good news but not the bad!
