I stood in front of a full-length mirror

I summoned two daggers, and they came swishing from my weapon chest and stopped midair in front of me. I grabbed them and aimed for the painting hanging at the far end of my room, aiming for the center of the flower vase. In seconds, the first dagger flew out of my hand and

landed where I wanted it to. The next dagger followed and split the handle of the first one before it dropped off the

floor.

I didn’t waste time, and this time, I aimed ice spikes in every corner of my room

where I could find a target, with only one thing in mind: my father’s heart.

Lucien had the fastest reflexes I had ever

seen. So making him a target was not that

easy, but I had to keep trying and find a

way to sneak up on him because the idea

of an ultimate demon form still seemed absurd to me. If Father didn’t have one, why was Lucius thinking I would be able
