appear in his father’s chamber. This was to divert suspicion away from Lucius

while Patrea and I made our move to take

Guillermo out of the picture.

I placed the invisible cloak over us and

held onto Lucius’ shoulder. We were in a

dimly lit corridor in an instant, and my gaze was drawn to the female I had been longing to hold.
