“Come in!” cáme Nash’s voice, neither warm nor cold.

Entering the room, Nina saw Nash busy on his computer. Lately, he had been preoccupied with preparations for the upcoming gala, and she wondered what more he had to attend to after returning home from work.

Nash glanced up at her. “What’s the matter?”

Nina replied, “Tomorrow is the annual gala of the York Corporation, and I’m planning to attend.”
