Chapter 12 Do I like her?

Tears rolled down on her cheeks, but she nodded, saying no more words. I turned my back to her, then I left her room. As soon as I closed her door, I leaned against the wall. It was so damn hard. But why? Why was it so hard to treat her like this?

I needed a few minutes to pull myself together. I walked back into my room to have a shower.

I stayed home today. I knew Gemma would feel disappointed, but she had to understand what this was all about, and she had to learn to be obedient.

So I just went to my cinema room, and I watched movies. When I was hungry, I ordered food from a restaurant. I was eating, and when I was full, I just continued to watch movies.

I wanted to drink from my beer, but the bottle was empty. After looking around, I noticed I ran out. I sighed. I stood up, then I walked down into the kitchen.

It surprised me to see my wife there. She didn’t notice me. She wore some sports clothes. Her long brown hair was down. She had earphones in her ears and she cut some vegetables while she was cooking some kind of ment

That was the first time my kitchen was in use. I just watched her for a few seconds, just to feel that unfamiliar feeling again. My gaze stuck to her. She was perfect from head to toe. I walked past her to the fridge, and I took a beer from there without saying a word. I opened it and I drank a sip.

First, I just simply wanted to leave, but that damn feeling was stronger. I put my beer down, and I went to a shelf where I kept my first aider kit to get some sanitizer and a plaster. I walked close to her. Her sweet scent was intoxicating. It took all my strength to keep my breathing steady.

First she looked at me terrified, but then she realised what I was about to do. I lifted her head up, and I cleaned her wound, then I put the plaster on

“Be careful next time. I don’t want to see your blood everywhere in my kitchen.”

She nodded. I took my beer and went to my room. I sat on my bed and 1 held my head, For the first time, I really questioned my decision. I thought about Seth. He wanted me to cancel this wedding. Maybe I should have listened to him.

My phone pulled me out of my thoughts. It was ringing. And I knew instantly who it was.
