Chapter 13 Getting annoyed

It was a beautiful morning, I really liked to train like this. I hoped I didn’t break any rules by coming to the seashore. Gideon was really handsome, but that was it. He wasn’t a nice person at all, and I didn’t want to experience his anger.

However, his girlfriend was an annoying thing. I still heard how she was shouting while they had sex. I was sure she had done that because she wanted me to hear how much they enjoyed their time together. And I was also sure that she would do everything to put me in trouble.

Gideon made it clear. If that was going to happen, then he wouldn’t stand next to me.

I tried to find an answer to why he married me, but unfortunately, these things just made me believe my dark thoughts were right. They needed me for a reason. They wanted to use me for something, and they wouldn’t feel sorry about me if they would not see me anymore.

I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. I felt like crying again, but I knew I had to stay strong, and I needed to escape somehow. I only hoped whatever they wanted to use me for would happen later, so I had time.

Fortunately, my original luggage was here, and I put a few books in. When I looked at them, I found my pictures. I found the one where I was with Lucas, hand in hand. We showed our first gold medals from a junior competition.

I took the picture, and I put it into the drawer of the bedside table. Then I held the book, and I walked down. I sat down at the vast pool under a tent, and I just started reading, enjoying the warmth.

It was late afternoon when I felt hungry. I did not want to go inside; I did not want to meet any of them, but finally I decided, I’m going to the kitchen to get something to eat.
