Chapter 178 Getting ready

I knew that if I would find her in this room again, I would not be able to hold my anger back. But this time, I only found Gideon in there, sleeping soundly, I smiled while I watched him for a few seconds.

I left the room, then I shut the door quietly. The feeling of someone’s gaze was on me made me turn my head in the direction. Nora stood there with a serious facial expression.

When I went into the bathroom, a strong mint smell hit my nose, but I didn’t mind. I undressed. I put one of my legs into the bath and I nearly cried out. The water was hot, boiling.

“Is she trying to kill me?” I whispered, while I unplugged the hole to reduce the amount of the water, and I opened the cold water tap to make the water temperature bearable. When I finally sat in it, I felt better. I closed my eyes and I tried to relax.
